Every Character Confirmed for GTA 6: Meet the Full Leonida Roster

When GTA 6 was first teased back in December 2023, the entire confirmed cast of Grand Theft Auto’s next era fit into a single frame: Lucia Caminos, walking out of prison in the Florida sun, and Jason Duval, waiting with the car. That was it. Two names, one silhouette of a story, and three years of theorizing.

That’s no longer the case. Between Trailer 2, Rockstar’s official character page, and the 26-minute Netflix Extended Look that premiered on August 27, the roster has grown to ten named, confirmed characters — a Bonnie-and-Clyde duo at the center, an old-school drug-running crew in the Keys, a music-biz empire with its own ambitions, and two brand-new faces (a stone-cold cop and a coked-up executive) that the Netflix special finally put names to. A new ScreenRant roundup collects the whole list in one place, and it’s a handy reminder of just how crowded — and how promising — Leonida is about to get.

What Happened: From Two Names to Ten

The cast build-out has happened in three waves. Trailer 1 gave us Jason and Lucia and almost nothing else. Trailer 2, released in May 2025, introduced the supporting ensemble — Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista, and Brian Heder — alongside Rockstar’s official character descriptions on the GTA 6 website. Then the Extended Look landed on Netflix and did something subtle but significant: it attached names to two previously anonymous faces, the Vice City police officer leading the raid on Jason and Lucia’s drug pickup, and the wealthy young executive the couple ends up bodyguarding.

That’s ten confirmed characters with actual names, roles, and story function — and per Rockstar’s press materials, the game is still almost three months out. GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The Playable Duo: Jason Duval & Lucia Caminos

Jason Duval

Jason “grew up around grifters and crooks,” per Rockstar’s official description, and a stint in the army didn’t exactly set him on the straight and narrow. By the time the game opens he’s been running drugs and collecting rent — violently when necessary — for Keys smuggling veteran Brian Heder. He’s the calmer half of the couple: the one who picks Lucia up from prison in Trailer 2 and insists that whatever the two of them do next, they need to do it right. Previews confirm you’ll be able to switch between Jason and Lucia freely while roaming Leonida, GTA 5-style, with the two able to operate together or apart in the open world. The internet, meanwhile, remains split clean in half on his voice acting.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia is the series’ first playable female lead, and Rockstar has given her the more detailed backstory of the two. She learned to fight from her father and inherited her mother’s insistence on a better life — and it was “fighting for her family” that landed her in Leonida Penitentiary in the first place. Like Tommy Vercetti before her, she has roots in Liberty City. The Extended Look adds a quietly human detail: her correctional social worker, Stefanie, still checks in on her, community service obligations included. ScreenRant’s read is that Lucia’s ambition may outmatch Jason’s — which, in a Grand Theft Auto game, is the kind of trait that pushes couples into dangerous places. Given what happens at the end of the Extended Look’s first act, “dangerous places” may be underselling it.

The Keys Crew: Cal Hampton & Brian Heder

Cal is Jason’s friend and the game’s designated casual conspiracy theorist — the kind of guy who doesn’t trust the Coast Guard and isn’t fully convinced birds exist, but is perfectly content to float in a pool with a beer and a mini-golf club. Trailer 2 memorably shows him asking Jason for crude romantic wingman assistance while wearing a soiled t-shirt emblazoned with the logo of Brian Heder’s boatyard, which tells you exactly which social circle he runs in. His biggest problem may be proximity: Jason, with Lucia at his side, is gunning for bigger things than Cal’s lounging lifestyle can accommodate.

Brian Heder

Brian has been smuggling drugs through the Keys since back when it was, as ScreenRant puts it, legitimately trendy — and he’s survived this long precisely because he doesn’t take the risks himself anymore. That’s what Jason is for. Brian lets Jason live in one of his properties (strings very much attached), admonishes him for fixing his own roof when he could be collecting rent from tenants, and drops the ominous warning in Trailer 2 that Jason’s personal information has fallen into the wrong hands. He lives the beach-bum life with his third wife, Lori, and delivers what is already an all-timer of a Rockstar quote: “I hauled so much grass in that plane, I could make the state of Leonida levitate.”

The Music Empire: Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest & Real Dimez

Boobie Ike

Boobie is the character who already fulfilled the GTA fantasy before the game even starts. He hustled his way up from the streets into real estate, strip club ownership, and media-mogul status, and he knows how to make money work for him. His current passion is the music industry, where he’s betting big on the new label he runs with Dre’Quan Priest: Only Raw Records. If the label finds the kind of success his earlier ventures did, it changes the economy of the story’s criminal ecosystem — and if it doesn’t, Boobie is the type who’ll look for shortcuts.

Dre’Quan Priest

Dre’Quan shares Boobie’s street-hustler history and his hunger to leave that world behind — for him it’s all about the music. He cut his teeth booking acts for Boobie’s strip club, so he presumably knows what moves a crowd, and his big swing at Only Raw Records is signing Real Dimez. Whether the label becomes a hit machine or a money pit may be one of GTA 6’s quieter storylines, and possibly one of its most telling.

Real Dimez

A two-for-one entry: Real Dimez is a rap duo — Bae-Luxe and Roxy — long-time friends who’ve staked their claim in both the rap game and social media. They notched a genuinely popular track five years ago in collaboration with a local rapper, but half a decade of stalled momentum has left them squarely in one-hit-wonder territory. With Boobie’s money and Dre’Quan’s label behind them, they’re the closest thing GTA 6’s cast has to a comeback story. Knowing this series, the comeback will involve crime.

The Wildcards: Raul Bautista, Mendez & Andrés de León

Raul Bautista

It wouldn’t be a Grand Theft Auto game without professional bank robbers, and Raul is exactly that — a career heist man with a taste for tailored white suits and a habit of raising the stakes with every job. Trailer 2’s Fast Five-style sequence of a heavy-duty truck dragging a vault through city streets is widely assumed to be his handiwork, and the Extended Look confirms he’s working with Jason and Lucia by the midpoint, including a getaway that doubles as an audition for the crew. Mendez

The Extended Look’s darkest new reveal. Mendez, named by the Netflix special per ScreenRant, appears to be a major figure in the Vice City Police Department — and quite possibly the antagonistic face of law enforcement in the game. During the police raid that interrupts Jason and Lucia’s drug pickup, a cornered criminal protests that his gun isn’t loaded and drops it, only for Mendez to reply “Too bad” and shoot him in the head. Jason and Lucia both clearly know who he is by name. A named, on-screen, extra-legally violent cop is Rockstar telegraphing that the police in GTA 6 won’t just be a wanted-level mechanic — they’ll be characters.

Andrés de León

The final new face is an egotistical executive at Megamundo — a Spanish-language media giant IGN notes looks suspiciously like a Telemundo parody. Jason and Lucia are hired to work private security for him (via Valentina, the first confirmed GTA Online crossover character), pick him up from his private jet, and escort him to the opening party for Megamundo’s first corporate headquarters on American soil. Valentina’s instruction to “gas him up” — which Jason interprets as babysitting — goes about as well as you’d expect: the party ends in a coordinated armed attack, with the company’s COO Petra caught in the crossfire and Andrés more interested in the upstairs cocaine than his own speech. Whether Andrés matters beyond one disastrous night is unclear, but a megacorp HQ full of armed assailants screams setup.

What This Means for GTA 6

Stack the roster up and a shape emerges. GTA 6’s story looks built on the collision of two criminal economies: the legacy smuggling world of the Keys — Brian’s boatyard, Cal’s paranoia, Jason’s rent-collection muscle — and the modern, social-media-flavored money of Boobie Ike’s music empire, where the crime is quieter and the cameras are everywhere. Jason and Lucia sit exactly at the hinge between them, which is a much more structured premise than the series has played with in a long time.

The second takeaway is Rockstar’s own logline coming into focus. The studio has said the couple gets trapped in a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida after an easy score goes wrong — and the Extended Look now shows us the gears of exactly that: a botched pickup, Mendez’s raid, a pivot to experienced criminals like Raul, and a corporate party ambush that connects small-time couple to megacorp-scale trouble. Ten named characters, two protagonists, one conspiracy. The scaffolding of the plot is effectively on screen.

And there’s a meta-point worth savoring: we know all of this before launch, and Rockstar is still holding back. The studio has barely touched GTA 6 Online, barely shown the map’s northern reaches, and kept most mission content under wraps. If this is the cast they’re willing to name three months early, the full game is going to be crowded in the best way.

The Bottom Line
