GTA 6 NEWS · THE ORIGINAL SCORE

Justice’s GTA 6 Score Drops December 11 — and the New Gesaffelstein Collab ‘Pusher’ Is Out Now

Three weeks before GTA 6 takes over your console, Rockstar has locked in when its score takes over your speakers. The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score — composed in full by Grammy-winning French electronic duo Justice — releases December 11, 2026 across all major streaming services, and it is getting the deluxe physical treatment: a double CD and a triple vinyl pressing. And the best part is already here. As IGN reports, Justice dropped a brand-new score track today: “Pusher,” featuring fellow French electronic pioneer Gesaffelstein. Polygon’s verdict is the one Vice City deserves: it is “the perfect music to commit crimes to.”

The essentials: the Original Score lands December 11 on streaming, 2xCD and 3xLP (including a limited crystal-clear vinyl edition), carrying 30 tracks plus digital bonus tracks — a roughly three-hour suite of Justice’s material for the game. “Pusher” is out now and is the first-ever collaboration between Justice and Gesaffelstein, previewing the instrumental side of the score. Its predecessor, “Flower in a Hurricane” (ft. Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard), became Justice’s first non-feature song to crack the Billboard Hot 100. GTA 6 itself launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S — the score follows 22 days later. If you have been keeping score of Rockstar’s audio rollout — radio station previews, a 34-track companion album, and now a full original score — this is the piece that actually soundtracks your heists.

What Happened: ‘Pusher’ Is Live

Justice released “Pusher” today across streaming services, and it is the second official preview of the Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score. Per IGN, the track features Gesaffelstein and marks the first time the two French acts — both pillars of dark, cinematic electronic music — have ever collaborated. Where “Flower in a Hurricane” showcased the score’s sunlit, pop-facing side with its stacked guest features, IGN notes “Pusher” previews the instrumental side of the score: the thumping, after-hours half that Polygon imagines “playing while Jason and Lucia rob a bank or speed away from cops” — a pursuit the police will now send actual dogs to finish.

The single is already live on Spotify and Apple Music under its full title, “Pusher (feat. Gesaffelstein) [From GTAVI: Original Score],” with the release credited to Take-Two Interactive under exclusive license to Ed Banger Records / Because Music — Justice’s long-time labels. Apple Music’s pre-add listing for the full score currently shows 50 songs on the digital edition, comfortably more than the 30 tracks on the physical formats. In other words: the vinyl is for the shelf; streaming gets the complete vault.

The Score Gets the Physical Release the Game Won’t

Here is the detail Rockstar fans are savoring: the score is arriving on double CD and triple vinyl — in a limited crystal-clear edition as well as standard black — while GTA 6 itself will never ship on a disc. Physical copies of the game are code-in-box; the disc era ends with a soundtrack. It is not even the first time this fall Rockstar has printed music where it declined to print software: the 34-track GTA 6 companion album got its own vinyl and CD announcement back in September, weeks before the score’s existence was formally detailed.

Per the official description, the 2xCD and 3xLP editions feature 30 tracks “and a number of bonus digital tracks comprising a 3 hour-long suite of material from the game.” Polygon adds that the bonus tracks “capture the electric energy of Grand Theft Auto 6’s Vice City and Leonida.” Between the score, the album, and the collectibles machine — from the $400 Goodtime State collector’s box to officially licensed Vice City coffee — Rockstar has quietly assembled an entire lifestyle brand around a game that is still three weeks away. The December 11 score date means that brand keeps shipping new product deep into the holiday season.

How Justice Built the Sound of Leonida

Rockstar did not license a Justice album and call it a score. Per the announcement, Justice — Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay — were “hand-selected for the assignment” and “worked in close collaboration with the team at Rockstar Games to match the thematic beats of the gameplay experience, fine tuning their signature sound to align with the immersive world of Grand Theft Auto VI and the story of Jason and Lucia.”

The technical claim underneath that is the interesting one: the band’s score is “dynamically tuned to game events as they unfold, constantly reacting in response to the different ways players engage with the people and places across Leonida.” This is not radio — it is music as a living system, closer in spirit to how the game’s weather rolls across the map than to a static playlist.

De Rosnay puts the ambition in his own words: “The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures. We were given the freedom to explore as many things as we needed to, musically speaking.”

The strategy is already working on the charts. “Flower in a Hurricane” — released as the score’s first preview — marked Justice’s first non-feature song to hit the Billboard Hot 100, entering at #62 and debuting at #34 on the US Alternative Radio chart. And GTA 6 music has been moving real-world numbers all fall: 86-year-old Cliff Richard’s “Devil Woman” is up 325% in streams off the back of one Netflix extended-look placement, and the launch trailer that aired on TV leaned on “Flower in a Hurricane” too — and fans noticed.

What This Means for GTA 6

1. The score is a system, not a soundtrack. Rockstar drawing a hard line between its radio stations — Bad Bunny and friends included — and a dynamically reactive original score is a genuine design statement. The radio plays at you; the score plays with you, bending around how a chase, a robbery, or a quiet drive actually unfolds. Every player’s Leonida will literally sound slightly different.

2. December 11 turns launch into a season. The game arrives November 19; the score lands 22 days later. That is a deliberate tail — a second wave of GTA 6 cultural presence right as holiday shopping peaks and as players are still deep in the story. Expect the score’s release to be treated like an event album, complete with its own vinyl drops.

3. GTA 6 is now a hit-making machine for other artists. Between “Flower in a Hurricane” hitting the Hot 100, the Devil Woman resurgence, and the songs showcased in the Extended Look, placement in GTA 6 has become one of music’s loudest stages. A 50-song streaming edition of the score gives Justice a full album’s worth of that spotlight.

4. The vinyl irony is the collector pitch. You cannot buy GTA 6 on a disc, but you can own its score on three of them. For a fan base already buying a $400 box that does not include the game, a crystal-clear triple LP of the Justice score is the most sensible physical GTA 6 artifact announced yet — it is the game’s soul, pressed at 33 RPM.

The Bottom Line

A Grammy-winning duo scoring all of Leonida, a first-ever Gesaffelstein collaboration you can stream right now, and triple vinyl for a game that ships discless — the GTA 6 music rollout has officially outgrown the game industry and entered the record business.
