Little Cuba

Overview

Little Cuba is Vice City’s vibrant Cuban-American neighborhood — colorful streets, authentic cafecito windows, domino parks, and the rhythm of salsa spilling from every doorway. This is the cultural soul of Vice City.

Based on Miami’s Calle Ocho (Little Havana), this neighborhood is where the Cuban exile community built a home away from home. Cafés, cigar shops, music venues, and the kind of street life that makes a city feel alive. But beneath the warmth, there’s also the reality of immigration, politics, and the complicated relationship between Leonida and its Latin American neighbors.

In the Game

In the original Vice City, Little Havana was a key area — gang territory, street races, and the site of multiple missions. It was where you went for street-level crime and connections to the Latin American drug trade.

In GTA 6, Little Cuba is the modern evolution of Little Havana — still culturally rich, still politically charged, but updated for 2026. Expect food trucks, street art, and the ongoing story of immigration that defines Miami’s identity.

Then vs Now

The original Little Havana (1986) was a neighborhood of first-generation exiles — people who fled Cuba and built a new life. In 2026’s Little Cuba, those exiles’ grandchildren are running the show. The culture has evolved, deepened, and become inseparable from Vice City’s identity.

Real-World Inspiration

Based on Little Havana, Miami — centered on Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street), the cultural heart of Miami’s Cuban-American community. Famous for Café Versailles, Domino Park, and the annual Calle Ocho Festival.
