Music in Vice City
Vice City has always been about the music. From V-Rock’s hair metal in 1986 to whatever Dre’Quan Priest is cooking up at Only Raw Records in 2026, music is the heartbeat of this city.
1986: Love Fist & V-Rock
Love Fist was Vice City’s biggest band — a fictional Scottish rock group that parodied every excess of ’80s hair metal. Managed (sort of) by Kent Paul, the band was Tommy’s entree into Vice City’s celebrity world.
V-Rock was the radio station that played their music, along with classic tracks from Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, and Motley Crue. The radio stations of Vice City are still considered the best in GTA history.
2026: Only Raw Records
Only Raw Records is the modern equivalent — a record label founded by Boobie Ike and Dre’Quan Priest. They need a hit. The Real Dimez are their potential stars.
The Evolution
From hair metal to hip-hop. From radio stations to streaming platforms. From backstage passes to Instagram followers. Vice City’s music scene has evolved with the times, but the hunger is the same: everyone wants to be a star.
