Overview
The Flamethrower is Vice City’s most chaotic weapon — a stream of fire that ignites everything it touches. Pedestrians run screaming. Cars explode. The grass catches fire. It’s the weapon for when you want to watch the world burn. Literally.
Unlocked at 50 hidden packages, the flamethrower trades the instant gratification of the rocket launcher for something more sadistic: prolonged suffering. Enemies don’t just die — they burn first. It’s terrifying, effective, and deeply satisfying in a way that only video games allow.
How It Could Tie Into GTA 6
Flamethrowers are uncertain for GTA 6 — they’ve become less common in modern games due to rating concerns. However, fire mechanics are confirmed ( Trailer 2 shows fire effects), and a flamethrower would be a natural fit for the swamp environments of the Grassrivers.
If it returns, the flamethrower could interact with GTA 6’s environmental systems — igniting grass, spreading through buildings, creating wildfire events.
Tactics
Use in enclosed spaces to deny enemies access.
Fire spreads — use it to create barriers.
Watch your fuel — it depletes quickly with continuous use.
