For Roxy and Bae-Luxe — the duo behind Real Dimez, who turned a history of shaking down dealers into a rap career and a hit (DWNPLY) — ScreenRant casts Megan Thee Stallion and Doechii, with Keke Palmer flagged as the “more story-heavy” alternative for Roxy. The logic: two genuine rap stars would make Real Dimez feel like an actual musical act instead of actors LARPing as one, and Doechii’s theatrical eccentricity would give Bae-Luxe her own lane next to Megan’s gravity.

It extends down the label: Joey Bada$$ as Dre’Quan Priest, the aspiring music mogul building Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike — a role that wants music-industry credibility and acting chops, and Joey has both (Pro Era co-founder; Mr. Robot; Power Book III: Raising Kanan). And Killer Mike as Boobie Ike, the ex-streets empire builder with real estate, a strip club and a recording studio, is the pick that would sell itself: decades of charisma, sage street wisdom and scene-stealing turns in Ozark, Billions, Dave and The Good Lord Bird.
